We hope you arrived safely and had no problem finding the home! While you stay here in our
Bay Area home, our goal is to make you feel at home, comfortable, and help make your visit
to East Palo Alto more enjoyable. In this book you will find information about check in and out procedures, a few house rules, our local recommendations, and more.

Check-in time is anytime after 4:00 PM
Check inbox for entry code. We cannot offer early check-ins or late departures as it allows our cleaning crew ample time to make sure your home is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after your stay.

How does
WORK?
How do you turn on central air conditioning?
Simply move the switch on your thermostat from “Heat” to “Cool”. If your system was off entirely, you may need to move the switch from “Off” to “Cool” instead. Once you turn your system on, be sure to close any open windows to conserve energy.
Temperature Suggestions
A comfortable temperature for the summer is 64 degrees to stay cool and 74 for the winter to keep yourself cozy. Remember to turn off all the heaters if you are checking out and/or plan on leaving the house for a long period of time.
What to do if central air condition is not working?
If for any reason heating/AC is not functioning, please try to reset breakers.

Please check-out on time.
Our cleaning company is strict on the check out time. They will arrive at check out and offer a 5 minutes courtesy and after that charge us a $30 fee for every 30 minutes their staff has to wait. Please check out on time or we will have to charge you for the additional cleaning fee.
Please make sure you follow the Check-out steps below:

Start a load of dirty dishes in dishwasher.
Step 02
Lock doors and windows and turn off lights and AC.
Step 03
Double check you've picked up all your belongings. We can ship left items but it will be $25 for labor + shipping cost.

This casual counter-service spot offers a hybrid of American & Caribbean dishes in a colorful space. Most favorite dishes are the combo curry goat + some other meat, like jerked chicken or oxtail. House sauce (served on the side) highly flavorful and spicy, but in combo w the rice, it's quite manageable. And the fried plantains- oh so good.
