to Mariposa more enjoyable. In this book you will find information about check in and out procedures, a few house rules, our local recommendations, and more.

Check inbox for entry code. We cannot offer early check-ins or late departures as it allows our cleaning crew ample time to make sure your home is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after your stay.

How does
WORK?
How do you turn on Heating/AC (Mini-Splits)?
Use the remotes provided in the house (usually on the wall of each space) to control the individual heating/AC units. Remotes are universal, so if you find one, you are able to control all.
Temperature Suggestions
Mini-splits need time to generate hot/cold air if you adjust temperature from cold to hot or vice versa. Since the unit produces both heat and AC, it will need some time to adjust. It is best not to change temperature from the lowest to the highest at once because that may take the unit more power to run (which might make it slower). Instead, try adjusting the temperature 10-15 degrees at a time, and give it enough time to rest.
What to do if Heating/AC (Mini-Splits) is not working?
If for any reason heating/AC is not functioning, please try to reset breakers.

Please check-out on time.
Our cleaning company is strict on the check out time. They will arrive at check out and offer a 5 minutes courtesy and after that charge us a $30 fee for every 30 minutes their staff has to wait. Please check out on time or we will have to charge you for the additional cleaning fee.
